‘Marc Marquez not ready for the Qatar Grand Prix,’ as the six time MotoGP continues his recovery from the horrific eye injury
Marc Marquez
Marc Marquez has had a period of turmoil as the six time world champion have been dealing with a streak of injuries and some of them so serious which almost costed him his career. He has been able to fight off all the major scares that he has had in the past but his recovery to full fitness is still a way off.
We know how determined the former champion is but he also needs to be realistic about his situation while he trains to be up and running for the new season of MotoGP. The champion has had a terrific season but he shouldn’t get carried away with what he has seen. The former world champion needs to take it easy and make sure that the injury should not relapse which could be a permanent consequence.
Marc Marquez faced a horrific arm injury in Jerez and just when he thought his woes are over, he faced an injury in training which gave him double vision problems. He faced a same sort of injury back in 2011 but the world champion recently revealed in the interview that the recovery was harder.

He also revealed that he almost gave up on his career but the love for the sport brought him back doing what he is best at. Marc Marquez does not look 100% and Honda boss Alberto Puig agreed to that.
Alberto Puig said, “After the winter it was not clear [I would be in Qatar], but it was already really important to test in Malaysia, test in Mandalika.”
“Let’s see how is the way to start the first race. I will say that for 2022 I want to fight with all these guys for the title, for the first GP maybe I’m not ready.“
“But during the weekend we will understand where we are.”
MotoGP and its fans cannot wait to see the Spaniard back in action but they might just have to wait as he might not be ready to make a comeback for the first Grand Prix in Qatar as he continues to work towards full recovery.
