After Suzuki left MotoGP for good, there was a bit of terror among its staff and riders which included Alex Rins. The Spaniard then went to Yamaha in search of a contract. However, the Yamaha squad already had Morbidelli and Fabio which meant that Alex Rins didn’t have a shot at glory with the team. This in turn led straight to his move with Honda. There have been many ups and downs this season.

After half a season coming to an end, Alex Rins has a victory to his name . Alex has gone on to win the Grand Prix of the Americas, becoming the first Honda rider aside from Marquez to win a MotoGP race since 2018. The Honda factory riders have had terrible luck throughout this season. Both of them have been able to only finish a race this season. Otherwise it has been a bunch of DNF’s and DNS’s.
