Doing a lap around the historic Silverstone Circuit is a dream that many people have had. Darryn Binder will be making his debut at the Silverstone circuit racing motorcycles in the premier class of MotoGP which will also mark the return of MotoGP action. The South African rider did not hide his desire at all while expressing his intentions to return to competing on a circuit on which many challenges await for the young rider.

Darryn Binder will be racing at Silverstone for the first time on a MotoGP bike. The Yamaha With U rider has raced there previously in a different category so he will surely be used to the atmosphere but it will be the bike that will be the differentiator among all the variables.

The South African rider expresses his feelings about getting back to racing after the Summer break.

“I’m really excited to get back racing and to start the second half of the season. It has been a very nice break, nine races left. I’ve really enjoyed Silverstone in the past, it’s a good track,” he said.

“Sometimes the weather can be a little bit tricky, but I’m looking forward to get out there on the MotoGP bike and get the second half of the season underway,” he continued.

With the first half of the MotoGP season ending and the second half of the season about to commence this weekend at Silverstone where Darryn Binder will be more than ready to get back on his bike. The South African rider currently sits in 21st place in the MotoGP world championship with 10 points to his name. Where do you think Darryn Binder will finish in the British Grand Prix?
