Marc Marquez is one of the best riders on the grid according to the fans. The 8 time world champion is a fan favourite inspite of his aggressive style of riding which is often questionable. It is no secret that the rider has been going through a rough patch in his career. He had four notable injuries last season alone. But he is back with his championship winning mentality. 

 Jorge Martin, the Pramac Racing rider had full praises for Marcquez. The “Martinator” managed to finish 9th last season inspite of the crashes . He ended the season with 8 podium finishes and a total of 152 points in world standing. Jorge Martin had hoped to land a seat with Ducati for 2023 but Enea Bastianini got the seat instead. The Spaniard is staying with Pramac Racing for the 2023 season.

Matin sat down with Pecino GP YouTube channel and spoke to Manuel Pecino about his professional life and declared his respect for Marquez.“Why did he surprise me? Because he is 30 years old, because he has eight world titles, because he has a lot of money and because he comes from a very serious injury. And also because even though he had an inferior bike he risked like c*azy and crashed many times. For me this has all the value in the world,” he continued.

“That’s why at this moment I admire him even more. I think he remains the rider to beat. But the big question is which way Honda decided to go with the development of the bike, whether it’s the right one or not”. It is not surprising that Marquez is a well respected rider in the grid. With Honda’s package he had managed to take them to the top and pushed beyond limits. 

Jorge Martin did not hold back when it came to spilling facts on Marquez. The 2023 season will begin on 26th March and the riders will be back on track. As usual it will end up being unpredictable, such is the sport. With Marquez, the risk taker back to his form the battles are expected to be quite interesting.
