Marquez does not think the same, he does not think he would be among the favourites to contend for the title this year. He sat down with GQ magazine and opened up like never before. He spoke about his professional life and mental health. “I think this is the first time in many years that we don’t start as favourites, we’re not even among the three or four favorites to win the title, either because of me or because of Honda’s situation, which is also not going through a good time. We have to be realistic at least in the first few races, otherwise we will suffer frustration after frustration”

Honda had given Marquez a championship winning bike before or should we say he made the best out of what was given to him, but now they seem to be having a tough competition with the others like Ducati, Yamaha, Aprilia to name a few. Having said all this, the No.93 wants to give it his all and go for the win as that is his main intention for the new season.

Though the 2022 season was not favourable for him and the team, he hopes to make a redemption this season and the team Repsol Honda has one of the best driver line-ups on the grid, Marc Marquez and Joan Mir. The team will launch their new bike and unveil the livery on 22nd, February. Marquez is in full form and ready for the challenge ahead.
