After the thunderous action that all of us were witness to in Jerez, 2022 MotoGP Championship is back with its seventh race–the French Grand Prix. The Le Mann GP weekend is underway, and on Friday, as the Free Practice sessions rolled out, we got to see how the machines are performing on the French track for the first time.
With a race win at Portimao and a podium place in Jerez reigning Champion Fabio Quartararo is definitely one to watch out for, but the top spot during FP1 was secured by Repsol Honda racer Pol Espargaro. And his teammate, Marc Marquez showed everyone his form has gone nowhere despite his hiatus due to injuries, as he made a brilliant save for the second time after last week in Jerez.
Brad Binder, who was his KTM around the infamous turn 3 in Le Manns, he crashed out, and that is how KTM became the only team to not have any of its riders in the top 10 in Le Manns FP1. Keeping all the standings aside, MotoGP fans were truly impressed to see yet another bombarding save from the eight-time World Champion Marc Marquez. The rider had been gone from the MotoGP scene for a long time due to recurring physical injuries, but he is finally back with guns blazing, and he means business.
Marc Marquez saved his FP1 run by performing a wonderful maneuver in Le Manns

Last weekend in Jerez, Marc Marquez was almost on the verge of crashing his Repsol Honda RC213V when the talented rider gathered himself with tremendous skills and saved his bike from a potential disaster. Had he failed to defend against the impending crash, Marc’s race would have ended there and the Spaniard would have had to retire from the race.
When asked about the incident later, Marc Marquez said his fans had given him the strength to pick himself up and go back into the race. Marc completed the Jerez GP in the fourth position, missing out on a podium finish by a slight margin.
Marc Marquez has been aiming for a podium ever since he came back to MotoGP. While he was moving along turn 8, he lost control on the the right side, but he managed to collect himself and saved a crash on his knee and elbow.
