It was a bright and cheerful day at the Motegi circuit for the Japanese Grand Prix where Ducati factory rider Jack Miller absolutely dominated the race after pulling off a few brilliant moves at the start of the race. With Marc Marquez on pole, not all eyes were on him since the championship contenders were not starting at the front. The drama that furthered unfolded in the race was unthinkable.
Jack Miller comfortably led the whole race and went on to take his fourth victory in the sport and that too in style. Meanwhile his teammate Pecco Bagnaia who had started outside the top 10 managed to crash on the last lap. This was because he went for a move on Fabio Quartararo and ruined any chances of a points finish as he slid off and went into the gravel diminishing any hopes of the rider grabbing some points out of Fabio’s lead.
The podium consisted of Jack Miller, Johann Zarco and Brad Binder. World championship leader Fabio Quartararo managed to finish in 8th place and Aleix Espargaro encountered an early problem at the start and could only manage 16th. Takuya Tsuda’s Suzuki caught on fire midway result in an instant dnf. The Drama never stopped at the Japanese GP. Here is how twitter reacted to it.
