Mercedes is well known as a major manufacturer all over the World, but when it comes to Formula One, the bulk of the following that the team has received since the start of the turbo-hybrid era is down to their 7-time World Champion driver, Sir Lewis Hamilton.

The Brit ditched the McLaren team in favor of Mercedes in 2013 and when the hybrid era began, there was no stopping Hamilton and the Silver Arrows from decimating the competition. The 37-year-old has so far in his career won six World Championships with the German team.

The Lewis Hamilton domination lasted until the 2020 season and was ultimately brought to an end in 2021 when Red Bull starlet, Max Verstappen was somehow able to pull off the unthinkable.
