After a tense season filled with moments of many ups and downs, the results are finally in for this year’s MotoGP World Championship, and the scale has weighed in favor of Ducati. After a drought of 15 whopping years since Casey Stoner got the crown on behalf of the Japanese manufacturers, Francesco Bagnaia has made his Italian team proud by putting up a brilliant fight against the defending Champion Fabio Quartararo to get his maiden title.

Going into the Valencia Grand Prix, Francesco Bagnaia already had an advantage of 23 points over French prodigy Fabio Quartararo. While Quartararo had led the Championship Standings during the initial months up until the paddocks arrived at TT Assen, the Yamaha racer needed to win the Valencia GP to keep his hope of defending his MotoGP title up. Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he could not achieve the top spot as he finished P4 today–and this made it clear that Pecco is the World Championship claimant for this year.
