Jack Miller
MotoGP is always brimming with some drama when it comes to news about the drivers’ market, and if it is the transfer of Jack Miller, one of top Ducati racers, from his former factory racing team to KTM, then the fans of the Australian rider get all the more excited to get some insight into the Drivers’ potential contract for the next MotoGP season.
Jack Miller is a 27-year-old racer from Australia, who came into MotoGP in 2015 with Honda, and later shifted t the factory Ducati team in 2018. Miller finished the previous 2021 season of F1 in the fourth place in the World Championship standings, with two back-to-back race wins in Jerez, Spain, and Le Mans, France.
Currently in the eighth position in the Championship rankings after having a poor performance in the 2022 Mugello Grand Prix, Jack Miller’s contract with Ducati is set to terminate at the end of the 2022 season. As it is, the drivers’ market is already being influenced by Marc Marquez’s current exit from MotoGP for a fourth surgery, and now Jack Miller’s news of potentially switching teams has got people’s attention.

By the time the MotoGP circus hit the Mugello circuit, news arrived that the factory racing team Aprilia has extended its contract with both its riders–Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales.
Now that Aprilia has become the first factory racing team to announce its line-up for the next season, fans are speculating about with team will follow Aprilia’s suit and discuss their plans for their riders next. KTM is currently facing some issues with Miguel Oliveira, whom they want to shift to Tech3 for next season. Oliveira has been firm with his stance that he will not go to Tech3 come what may.
With Migue Oliveira’s future in Ducati seemingly unclear right now, Alex Rins of Suzuki, Jack Miller of Ducati, and Pol Espargaro of Repsol Honda might be considered for the remaining Red Bull KTM seat for the next year.
While speaking on this, Keith Huewen said, “Jack Miller for KTM, that’s pretty much seeming to me like a bit of a done deal. I’ve got a real feel for him going to KTM. Everything I’m hearing, it sounds like that’s pretty much sorted out.”
