‘My dream is to beat Roger Federer at Wimbledon’: Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner and Roger Federer

Jannik Sinner has impressed one and all in his relatively short pro career. The Italian is just nineteen but is already the World no. 31. Although it’s difficult to compare players from different times, one pointer remains at what age or how early they achieved something.

Jannik Sinner reached the Semi-Final of the ATP 1000 event in Miami at the age of nineteen years and seven months(19years 7 months). Roger Federer had reached the Semi-Final of his first ATP 1000 at the same venue at the age of twenty years and seven months (20 years 7 months).

Apart from that Sinner has already won two ATP Titles. The 2021 Great Ocean Road Open and before that the Sofia Open in 2021.

Jannik Sinner, “I would love to win US Open but my biggest dream is to beat Federer in Wimbledon. I hope Roger stays on Tour and I can play him on the Centre Court.
