Indian Cricket Team is set to face Bangladesh in a 2-match Test series at home starting from September 19 in Chennai. Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana has said that his team is very much prepared for the duel against India and feels that they need to be more prepared to face off a quality side like India on their own home turf.
He complimented India to be the better team but feels that the side who will play better cricket in the match will go on to become triumphant in the series. Bangladesh recently went to Pakistan for a 2-match Test series and beat the side comprehensively by a margin of 2-0 so they are confident as they arrive in India.
We are well prepared for India series. We have started training. The more we are prepared, the better we will be in execution during the matches. India are a good team but the team that plays better cricket will win. We will see when we go there.Nahid Rana said in a video shared by Bangladesh Cricket on X

The 21-year-old pacer was sensational with his pace in the Test series against Pakistan. Even on the relatively docile wickets, the pacer bowled well over 150 kmph consistently. He gave away just 44 runs and scalped 4 wickets in the second innings of the final Test match in Rawalpindi and played a major part in thumping Pakistan.
Nahid Rana wants to perform at his absolute best in India
Rana wants to build on his performance as Bangladesh arrive in India for the two match Test series. He talked about his pace and the unpredictability behind the pace and feels that it is the rhythm of the pace bowler that plays a major part in generating pace.
Rana also stated that he has not set a goal to bowl in excess of 150 Kmph. He just wants to follow the plans set by his team and make Bangladesh win matches. Rana also said that his family and people back in the village are very happy with his performance.
Meanwhile, India lost the last ODI series by a margin of 2-0 against Sri Lanka. They were rattled by the spinners on turning tracks and will face a major challenge from the Bangladesh spinners who are equally good on turning tracks. They played their last Test series at home against England and won it by a margin of 4-1. They have definitely picked their strongest side for the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai.
