After rampant speculation over Naomi pulling out of last week’s Raw despite being scheduled to defend her Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky, the fans have finally gotten to know why it had to be like that. On this week’s Raw, the real-life Trinity Fatu urged everyone to have a look at the tron.

A snippet from her and Jimmy Uso‘s latest appearance on Stephanie McMahon‘s What’s Your Story? podcast was played on the big screen. The writing was on the wall for what was about to come. ‘Big Jim’ quipped that everybody better proceed with caution because there’s a baby on board. It made the live crowd in Philadelphia erupt in absolute ecstasy.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce congratulated Fatu on behalf of everyone before she savagely asked him to leave the ring. After letting the crowd’s adulation sink in, the daughter-in-law of Rikishi put the Raw women’s division on notice and underscored that they got lucky this time around. ‘The Queen of Glow’ also joked that the Bloodline will continue to grow, and that met with several ‘OTC’ chants.

The crowd even chanted “baby Uso” in an adorable gesture for the mother-to-be. Naomi, at last, laid down the title belt in the middle of that ring. Before leaving, the 37-year-old affirmed that she’ll allow the rest of the women on the roster to do whatever they want with the title she’s vacating. But after coming back, she’ll target the women’s titleholder at that point.

Naomi details her complicated string of surgeries over fertility issues

In the aforementioned podcast with Stephanie McMahon, Naomi revealed that she found out about her pregnancy this past Sunday. That pretty much sums up why she pulled out from Raw on Monday. Trinity Fatu further revealed that she was in her hotel room, feeling a bit dizzy. That prompted her to undergo a pregnancy test just to ensure that wasn’t the case. One might wonder why Naomi didn’t believe she could be pregnant.

The former TNA Knockouts Champion gave a detailed account of her medical history with fertility issues. She had to undergo oophorectomy before even debuting in WWE. Naomi had her right ovary removed as part of the surgical procedure. The next major surgery came in 2020 at a time when the entire world was battling the COVID-19 pandemic. And what exactly was it? A myomectomy. It’s the removal of fibroids from the uterus, as Jimmy Uso chimed in to explain.

Uso revealed stressing over the surgery, as it took almost six hours to complete, as opposed to the two-hour timeline they were given. It didn’t go wrong, but it took that long, as Naomi’s case was more serious than the doctors had initially suspected. That left a lot of scar tissue, further affecting her ability to give birth on top of being in her late 30s and having a single ovary. All those factors contributed toward making Fatu and Uso believe that they would need external help to become parents.

Becky Lynch hilariously slams Naomi for ‘irresponsible’ pregnancy reveal on Raw

Amid a downpour of well-wishes and love for Naomi being seven weeks pregnant, someone has called her out for being irresponsible. And that’s the same woman who inspired Trinity Fatu that having a baby doesn’t end wrestling careers for women. She’s none other than Becky Lynch, who took to X and wrote, “How irresponsible getting pregnant as a champion.”

That was certainly a choice from Lynch to troll Naomi in a way only she could’ve done. For the unversed, ‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ was in Naomi’s shoes in 2020 when she relinquished the Raw women’s title after announcing her pregnancy on an episode of Raw with no fans in attendance.

Lynch would return to in-ring acting over a year later in 2021 at SummerSlam and hasn’t looked back at all. The Man’s conspicuous dig at Naomi perfectly aligns with her current on-screen gimmick. The two of them would’ve definitely shared a warm hug backstage.
