The ending to this week’s SmackDown was an emotional trainwreck for the Anoa’i family. Jimmy and Jey, The Usos, finally hugged it out, thus ending their year-long beef in WWE. Seemingly jubilant at the reunion, Jimmy’s wife, Naomi, posted an adorable picture with her husband on X. As seen below, the couple shared a wholesome moment while being in one of the makeup rooms backstage.
Naomi captioned that click, saying she’s a big fan of Jimmy. On SmackDown, the older Uso sneaked in at ringside sporting a black hoodie to lay waste on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The Bloodline was creating ruckus in what was a first-time-ever clash between Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, the former Guerillas of Destiny and the Motor City Machine Guns. These teams had previously shared the ring outside of WWE.
The tag team titles were on the line last night with challengers MCMG wrestling at less than a 100%, owing to a grueling win they’d just earned over #DIY. Solo and his men came down to bestow the title shot on Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, knowing that the two were physically drained. However, Sikoa’s plan backfired when Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns showed up to seek revenge on The Bloodline.
Reigns and Jimmy took care of Solo and Fatu. Back in the ring, the Tongans and Machine Guns were still on spaghetti legs. But then, yet another hoodied man at ringside, later revealed to be Jey Uso, barged in.
He assaulted Tama and Loa, avenging his Intercontinental title loss from Raw. The MCMG did the rest. They beat the Tongans to capture the WWE doubles silverware in only their third match with the company.
Where does Roman Reigns stand on The Usos’ comeback trail?
As seen on SmackDown, when The Usos shared a hug, Roman Reigns was looking down at them from the entrance stage. The look on his face showed that he was yet to mend fences with Jey Uso. And guess what? It’s all resolved.
The fans would get to know how on the upcoming edition of the blue brand, which is already taped. Hence, the spoilers are floating on social media. As for Roman, Jimmy, and Jey, they are back on the same page.
Moreover, PWInsider is reporting that WWE will confirm the OG Bloodline trio’s six-man tag team match against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at Crown Jewel. At this point, it’s not certain which member of Solo’s quartet will have to sit out.
