Jey Uso is set to take on CM Punk for the Seth Rollins-vacated world heavyweight title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. ‘The Yeet Master’ won a Battle Royal on this week’s Raw to get one step closer to regaining the top prize on the red brand. But he did it at his twin brother Jimmy Uso‘s expense.
‘Big Jim’ was among the final four contestants alongside his younger brother, LA Knight, and Dominik Mysterio. Having saved Jey from getting tossed over the top rope not once but twice, Jimmy didn’t get the same treatment from his brother. In fact, ‘Main Event Jey’ eliminated both Jimmy and Knight simultaneously. ‘The Yeet Master’ last dumped Mysterio to emerge victorious.

Big Jim’s wife, Naomi, has come up with a befitting way for her husband to get one up on her brother-in-law. She wrote on X, “Big Jim all it takes is one car one push.” The Queen of Glow’s suggestion prompted the netizens to point out the way she sidelined Jade Cargill last year out of spite. The former AEW star was found lying unconscious atop a crashed windshield of a car backstage.
That storyline proved to be a boon for Trinity Fatu‘s character arc because it enabled her to transition into a heel. She seemingly wants ‘Big Jim’ to emulate her actions on Jey Uso. The latter’s act piqued Jimmy, and he was yelling at ‘The Yeet Master’ the entire time, even after the match was over.
Jey Uso has started acting upon Roman Reigns’ advice
The glaring edginess in Jey Uso’s personality has everything to do with Roman Reigns. The former Undisputed WWE Champion has given enough reminders to his cousin in recent weeks about minding his own business. ‘The Tribal Chief’ urged Uso to stop helping out others every now and then so that he could focus on carving his own legacy.

The Yeet Master’s tweener persona has resulted in him getting called “Little Roman” by the man he’s about to lock it in with at Saturday Night’s Main Event—CM Punk. The former 8-time tag team champion has an uphill battle with a veteran in Punk opposing him on November 1.
Uso experienced the biggest moment of his career by overcoming Gunther to become the world champion at WrestleMania 41. The way he lost it back to ‘The Ring General’ drew ire from Rikishi, as the WWE Hall of Famer slammed the creative team for dropping the ball with his son.
With Uso’s popularity not waning anytime soon, WWE could give him one more chance. And it might work with the kind of character arc he’s on right now. The fans have called it quite reminiscent of the menace that Uso was during the Thunderdome Era, which earned him the nickname of a hothead from Reigns.
Roman Reigns scolded Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso for their Crown Jewel screw-up
Just about a few days ago, The Usos messed it up for Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. ‘The OTC’ was wrestling Bronson Reed in an Australian street fight. After Bron Breakker cut Reigns in half with a spear out of nowhere at ringside, Jimmy and Jey couldn’t keep themselves from coming out and evening up the odds for their cousin.

‘The Yeet Master’ accidentally speared the ‘Tribal Chief’ through a table and then got taken out by Breakker. Reed ultimately flattened Reigns with a Tsunami and earned a pinfall victory over the former Shield member. With that gargantuan upset, ‘The Auszilla’ became only the second wrestler after Cody Rhodes to have pinned Reigns in singles matches this decade.
What happened afterwards was interesting. Both Jimmy and Jey faced the wrath of a ticked-off Reigns. The ‘Head of the Table’ affirmed how he asked them to not meddle in his business. At last, the 40-year-old told his cousins that he doesn’t want to see them until Christmas.
