Rick Crawford is one of the few NASCAR drivers the community wants to forget about. The truck series veteran spent 16 years racing in the premier stock car racing National scene. He also spends time as the crew chief of ARCA Mendes series outfit Team Stange Racing and driver Maryeve Dufault in the 2014 season.

Crawford ruined his entire NASCAR legacy at the age of 59 for attempted enticement of a minor into s**. He was caught in a police operation that involved an undercover sheriff’s deputy who posted a 12-year-old to uncover a sex offender.

The ex-NASCAR driver negotiated a meeting time and place for him and the 12-year-old girl. Crawford agreed to pay her between $50 and $75 if she showed up in a parking lot they agreed to meet up.

Crawford and his advocates argued in the court that he didn’t know the girl in question was underage and if not would have followed through with s** with her if he had known. In 2018 the court found him guilty of all the charges, and he was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in Florida federal prison and is serving the term.
