The second round of the NASCAR Cup series will begin on Saturday, February 26 on Auto Club Speedway as the Next-Gen cars hit the tracks for Wise Power 400 in California. The race is vital for NASCAR teams as it can provide valuable data on how race Next-Gen cars will perform in this season as the track shares similarities with the number of tracks left in the cup schedule other than Daytona and Talladega.

MLB legend and former St. Louis Cardinals player Dominican professional baseball first baseman Albert Pujols will pilot the honorary Toyota Camry TRD pace car in Fontana for Sunday’s Wise Power 400.

Reacting to the announcement Albert Pujols said he finds it to be a special once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and added that he is excited and looking forward to leading the drivers in the world out onto the track.
