The whole Hendrick Motorsports garage was celebrating after the Roval round of 12, as all four of their cars made it into the R-8, giving them a great chance at winning the championship. But things went south soon, as soon it was found that Alex Bowman’s car was under weight, forcing NASCAR to be disqualify him.

My Sunday night wasn’t very good. It couldn’t happen to anybody else that way. Just a part of life, moving on and focused on going fast this weekend…Just not a great 24 hours for me. That’s part of life.

Alex Bowman sees the positive about the crash
The HMS driver though disappointed isn’t willing to give up, as he sees some positives as well. He pointed out that all his life, he always gets good things once the poor streak comes to an end and he believes everything happens for a reason. Bowman is determined to move on from the disappointment.

Most of the [expletive] things that have happened in my life have ended up working out for the better. Everything happens for a reason. I just want to move on and continue being successful. We don’t have a shot at the championship anymore, but still time to do good things the rest of the season.

Going into the last four races of the season, the Chevy driver will be hoping to secure more race wins playing spoiler. It will be interesting to see how things would playout for the veteran racer and the Hendrick Motorsports team.
