Extremely supportive. The one that stands out to me is, when I broke my back, knowing that I had to make that phone call and knowing that I did it like not in a Cup car, I did it doing an extra-curricular activity. You never want to make that phone call. He was extremely supportive immediately.

Alex Bowman said via Happy Hour podcast.

Mr. H did everything he could do to help his racer in the situation and revealed how they supported him when he was getting back by not putting too much pressure on his shoulders. Bowman highlighted how Hendrick and Jeff Gordon were really kind to him throughout the tough situation.

He did absolutely everything he could to help in every circumstance. There was never a pressure to get back in the car or a timeline, or you need to do this, you need to be winning again by this. Just getting to work with Mr. H and Jeff Gordon and everybody, they definitely were really kind to me through that situation.

Alex Bowman gives his verdict on Superspeedway racing

One of the biggest topics of controversy recently has been the issues with Superspeedway racing. Yeah, I’ve been really fortunate to be surrounded by a lot of experience and by a lot of really good race car drivers, whether it’s JG or Jimmy or Dale. So, I certainly have gotten a ton of advice from them over the course of my career. As a whole, we’re all guilty of causing a crash at the speedway at one point or another.

Alex Bowman said.

The comment from Bowman shows even learning from the best isn’t enough for the drivers race clean in the drafting tracks. The Next-Gen car and the attitude of the drivers cause the major reason behind the drama at Superspeedways, and it’s a issue that needs to be addressed.
