Bubba Wallace “Cried for Amigo Daniel Suarez” After the Mexican’s Impressive Xfinity Race Win

The NASCAR garage at Mexico City this weekend for the first international Cup race weekend of the Next-Gen era and Trackhouse Racing seems to be the side with the most momentum. The got a major confidence boost with home national hero Daniel Suarez securing win for JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series race. 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace was among many in the community to emotionally celebrate the win.
The star driver, who drove the No:9 Chevy crashed out during the Xfinity qualifying and was forced start at P39 with the backup cars. Daniel Suarez was able to use the home track advantage and climb to P4 with just 19 laps left in the race. On that important restart, he took the lead from Conor Zilisch and Ty Gibbs, an aggressive three wide battle. He then held on to the lead, surviving multiple restarts to secure the race win at the end.
The ex-Truck Series champion is close friends with 23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace, and the TRD driver was over the moon seeing his amigo back on the victory lane. He admitted on social media that he cried a little seeing the victory and pointed out that the Trackhouse Racing driver will be beyond excited after winning the race, against a talented group of drivers, in front of the big Mexican crowd that came to see him succeed.

Hyak Motorsports driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. also took it to social media to share his thoughts on the win. He admitted that it’s an impressive performance considering he started at the end of the grid with the back-up and came out victorious. Stenhouse sees it as a cool moment for the racer as well as NASCAR as a whole.

Daniel Suarez shares his feelings about the victory
After the win, Daniel Saurez was emotional and he celebrated it with his team alongside the huge crowd that was gathered chanting his name. He was also able to bring back the breaking the piñata that was shaped like a taco.

After the celebration, he was to share feelings about the win on his home track. He admitted that its very special and admitted that he is overjoyed as he secured a win starting at the back of the track before all the fans that’s has been supporting him for many years. Suarez seems to indicate he is happy to fight the big boys before his most passionate fans.
This is very special. This is very, very special to be here in front of my people. All these people have supported me for many, many years. They have loved me since my NASCAR Mexico days. And now we’re fighting with the big boys, so it feels good.

The comments from the NASCAR’s most successful Mexican racer shows he is super confident about the Cup race on Sunday, after the win. It would be interesting to see if he can go back-to-back before the home crowd and secure his playoff spot in the main event.
