Daniel Alejandro Suárez Garza is a professional stock car racing driver from Mexico who drives full-time in the NASCAR Cup series No:99 Trackhouse Racing team. He is one of the most accomplished international drivers to compete in NASCAR. Suarez was born on January 7, 1992, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico to Rosaline Garza and Alejandro Suárez. He is engaged to Julia Piquet, daughter of 3 times F1 World Champion Nelson Piquet.

When was Daniel Suárez’s NASCAR debut?

After making a name for himself in the Mexico NASCAR series, Suarez was selected for NASCAR Drive for Diversity program, which landed him the opportunity to race in the lower-tier series in the USA. He made his Xfinity Series debut in 2014 in Richmond and made his Truck series debut the same year in Talladega for Win-Tron Racing. He debuted for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Cup series Full-time in 2014 after two full-time seasons with the TRD team in the second tier. He was released by JGR in 2018 and spent two years with Stewart Hass Racing and Gaunt Brothers Racing before joining Trackhouse Racing in 2021.
