The NASCAR Cup Series race on Saturday night at the iconic Bristol Speedway witnessed Carson Hocevar getting involved in a brawl with the 2023 Champion Ryan Blaney. After getting spun by the No:77 on stage three, the No:12 Ford Mustang driver warned the media that a wild confrontation is going to happen.
Hocevar punced the Ford veteran as soon as Blaney started the confrontation with his hands on the veteran’s collars. They threw multiple punches at each other before crew members got involved and separated them. Talking about it post-race the youngster insisted that he did nothing wrong and asserted that he wasn’t going to patient when someone comes at him.
I mean, I wasn’t trying to wreck him. It just looked like to me, I got a run and kind of went left and he spun. I spun him. So, yeah, I mean, there wasn’t a whole lot of talking. He just kind of said one thing and then went after me, and I wasn’t going to take it.
Carson Hocevar said after the race.
The same words were said by Carson Hocevar when he wrecked Brad Keselowski a couple of weeks before and that shows how the Spire Motorsports driver deserves some blame for it. He later highlighted how the fans got the show they wanted and these comments and consistent with the attitude the youngster has towards creating drama for the sake of it.
I mean, that was fun with a 54. I mean, I got ran into a lot for the win. That was for second, and he wants to come fight. I don’t think anybody’s left behind me. So, they got an old-school Bristol show here.

Later in the same conversation, the veteran defended himself again and insisted that he didn’t do anything wrong and the even claimed that the No:12 Ford of Ryan Blaney spun himself out. He once again highlighted how the fans loved the whole drama and that’s something he always wants to do in every week.
I don’t know what I did wrong there. I got a run to cross him over, you know, he looked like he spun himself, and then he wants to instigate a fight. I was going to finish that. It seemed like the crowd was pretty pumped up. So, I was going to play the audience for a second.
Carson Hocevar asserted.
Carson Hocevar isn’t happy about the race despite earning solid points
Later talking about his race, the star driver asserted that though it was good point paying day that helped him go up in the table, he isn’t happy. He wanted to end the race with the victory and that has always been the ultimate goal.

Yeah, it don’t really mean shit because we didn’t win the race, but it was a lot of fun to be up front. Just really proud of our guys. That had to have been a good point day for us and a good run. We tend to run good here at Bristol. It would have been nice to close that one out.
Carson Hocevar said.
The comments from the youngster are on point and shows how he is ready to go all out for race wins every time he steps foot in the car. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the star driver in the coming days.
