Now Chase Briscoe has responded to the mistake made by his new teammate. He took the Kyle Larson route answering the question and joked about Chase Elliott joining JGR in the 2024 season. Briscoe continued the joke saying he would enquire to Rick Hendrick about potentially taking over the No:9 Chevy.

It changed a lot of things, I think in the Silly Season. I need to call Rick now that the 9 [Chase Elliott’s car] has opened up and changed a lot of things that was a domino nobody saw coming, so. Yeah I just kind of laughed at it I thought it was pretty good. Typical Christopher, so yeah, it was pretty funny.

I mean, I felt like everybody kinda knows what’s going on, right? So, I don’t know. I think the official announcement whenever that is, hopefully, we can have something official soon. I wasn’t mad at him, it was kinda funny, I thought.

The JGR announcement will come sooner than later now as there is no secrecy left. But at the same time JGR can use the slip up to their advantage as they can make some viral memes or content out of Bell and use it for the announcement.
