No, and honestly that’s why I like him. To be honest, I wish we had more of that. Yeah, listen, I’ve always had a lot of respect for Martin. We’ve always gotten along well. Probably never spoke more than 20 words to each other in my nine years and we don’t have to. There’s always been a mutual respect there

That’s the kind of relationship I’m all about as it pertains to a professional atmosphere. Somebody who shows up, keeps his head down and does his job and seems to focus on the things that matter. I think we can all respect and admire that.
Chase Elliott added.

Chase Elliott had a solid day at Iowa

The Chevy driver secured an impressive P3 finish on Sunday at Iowa and was able to secure top position in the points table with his main rivals Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson dropping points. He was proud of the teams run though it could’ve been better.

Could make good pace there at the end of a run with our NAPA Chevy, just needed to be a little closer I think to keep the pressure on and keep things rolling. Anyway, I was proud of the effort and felt like we had a really good car and were right there in the fight.
Chase Elliott said.

While Chase Elliott is in fine form and in the fight for the championship with a win, he would also be hoping to see the veteran Martin Truex Jr. getting a win and securing a playoff spot like many fans in the NASCAR community. Currently the No:19 team is going through a rough patch because of mostly bad luck.
