The 2025 NASCAR Cup season will mark a new chapter in the history of the sport with the new broadcasting deal kicking off. It will mark the streaming debut of the Cup series, with Amazon Prime and HBO Max set to stream five races each in the mid-season. Hendrick Motorsports and 2020 Cup champion Chase Elliott seem to be the side that has benefited the most from the deal.
They have recently announced that Amazon Prime is set to be the No:9 team’s primary sponsor for the races next season. This deal will ensure they will have proper advertising before the five races get streamed via their service platform. The streaming service team is excited about the prospects of the new signing and their debut with NASCAR.
Chase Elliott is also excited about the new partnership they have signed with the tech giants. He sees it as a perfect alliance, owning their common goals around ten sports, and is looking forward to the opportunities Amazon Prime can offer NASCAR.
Rick Hendrick shared his verdict on the new deal
For HMS’ Hall of Fame boss Rick Hendrick, the new deal is a special opportunity to build something long-term in the sport. He also exclaimed that his team fully supports the efforts of Amazon Prime to give world-class broadcasting of the NASCAR Cup series races in the coming season and beyond.
The comments from everyone involved in the sponsorship deal show how much time, money, and resources are being invested into NASCAR’s streaming service debut. It would be interesting to see how these deals will inspire changes and benefit the sport as a whole.
