Christopher Bell acknowledged that the Bristol dirt race is something he is so excited about. He went on to say about him and Kyle Larson missing out on a win in last year’s Food City Dirt Race where he had high hopes for a win owing to a mistake. He went on to say that he is confident about his chances this year as he was able to overtake Joey Logano, the race winner, last year before spinning out.

Bristol dirt is a race that I am so excited for. Last year was another one of those races where we were really strong or were capable of winning the race. Unfortunately, I made a mistake, spun out, and crashed early. So don’t want to do that, again, want to make sure that I get to the end of the race and I think we’ll have a strong showing,Christopher Bell said.

I passed Joey Logano early in the race last year before I spun out. That’s good to have that confidence in my head. All the dirt racers, we got a lot of them in the Cup Series now. So, it’s not going to be an easy race by any means,” Christopher Bell added.

Christopher Bell acknowledged that he believes the Next-Gen car is more durable than the past ones which allow more contact racing. He went on to say that the Bristol track adds versatility to the schedule which he finds to be a win-win situation for all parties involved.

One thing that we have learned about the Next-Gen car is it seems to be durable. Hopefully, we’ll be able to have a little bit more contact and you know, get away with stuff that we weren’t able to do last year,” says Christopher Bell.

I think it adds versatility to the schedule. We pride ourselves on being the best car drivers in the world. So going to different road courses, speedways, intermediates, short tracks, and now a dirt track. I think it’s a win-win all around,” Christopher Bell added.
