I've heard rumors that Noah could be going to the #3. I don't believe those rumors that's really kinda far-fetched. Even though i don't think Austin retiring and setting into a managing role at RCR.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. sees Austin Dillon becoming RCR president

The Hall of Famer went on to point out that he expects one day to see Dillon taking over the mantle of RCR president from his grandfather Richard Childress. But it will come in the future, as right now everyone at RCR is focussed on making the No:3 car and driver better.

I hope that Austin would one day be president and running RCR but I don't know that time has come for him to make that choice. They are making some changes on his own team to try to make him better. He had a great run this past week. So maybe he still believes that there's something left in the tank.

RCR might not an option for Noah Gragson in the immediate future as even if the team has to replace Dillon, they have Xfinity Series driver Austin Hill and Jesse Love waiting to take the season. It would be interesting to see where Gragson will end up next year.
