Hailie Deegan, the first woman to win an ARCA Series race, came into the 2024 season with the hopes of re-establishing herself as a prominent talent of the sport. She got the Xfinity Series seat she has long been dreading for after three mediocre years in the Truck Series. So far, she hasn’t been able to make any solid progress with the team.
The No:15 team has been struggling to field strong cars that would help ger to at least fight for top-10s and Hailie Deegan if few occasions they had good cars got caught up in incidents mostly because of her mistakes. Recently she had another major blow as it was announced that AMR has replaced her with two times Cup champion Joey Logano for the Chicago Street race.
Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. gave his verdict of the situation after AMR faced backlash over the decision. The team claimed that the decision was made to get some feedback from Logano on what they are doing wrong in 2024. Junior isn’t buying it as he pointed out that the Team Penske driver can’t give nothing much with racing at Chicago at it should have been some oval races.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. advice Hailie Deegan to be professional
The 2024 NASCAR season has already been tough for Deegan, and now it has been made extra hard. Junior pointed out that it is a tough situation for the racer as no-one wants miss a race. He went on to advice the racer to be professional in the situation and to learn from it if she is looking forward to racing with the team in the future.
This is a tough situation for Hailie because no matter what spin they use in a media release, Joey’s getting put in the car, she’s getting pulled out. It’s a tough situation for her. My advice I think would be to be as professional as you can. If she is to get back in the car, if she is the future of that team, if she is to finish the year in this car, having Joey drive it absolutely is a benefit.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said.
The best thing Deegan can do at the moment is to follow what Junior suggested and use the opportunity to her advantage. It would be interesting to see how the drama involving the three would playout for the racer.
