The Mexican American racer got married to his long-time girlfriend Julia Piquet, the daughter of four-times F1 world champion Nelson Piquet.
Marrying into a racing family changed the whole dynamic of Daniel Suarez’s life and it gave him some new perspectives of life. Further talking about the point, Daniel Suarez pointed out that him growing up working on the cars unlike his wife might be reason for the difference in the love for racing. Piquet, being from the racing family, grew up around the race track and it helped to build her passion for racing.
Daniel Suarez believes he is really fortunate to marry Julia Piquet
In the same interview, Daniel Suarez asserted that he is really fortunate about having Julia Piquet in his life. He further stated that Piquet 100% understands what it takes for him to fight for success in NASCAR and she fully supports his efforts.
The comments from Daniel Suarez shows how much he cherishes the support from his wife and how much having the right partner help the drivers thrive in the sport. It would be interesting see how Suarez would perform in the 2025 season, with more Trackhouse development drivers eying his Cup seat.
