“I don’t think I’m the next Kyle Busch at all,” Ty Gibbs when juxtaposed with former champion Kyle Busch

Ty Gibbs, the 19-year-old who drives the No.54 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing and competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has claimed victory yet again in this years’ Nalley Cars 250. The young lad from North Carolina stole P1 in Saturdays’ race and stand second in terms of championship points scored.
He’s had a bright career so far with 6 wins in 23 races which aren’t bad for a racer that young. It is evident enough to say that he has a long way to go as he is in a team with the big guns Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Martin Truex Jr.
“That’s one where I learned a big lesson: Just never give up,” says Ty Gibbs

Ty Gibbs didn’t expect that he’d win, he couldn’t believe it. He passed Austin Hill inches before the OT checkered flag to secure the win. The Nalley Cars 250 win marked his 6th win and his current stats are similar to that of Kyle Busch prior to his twenties. Kyle Busch is no doubt a Hall of Famer in the making and Ty Gibbs didn’t want any part of it when he’s compared to Kyle Busch.
Ty Gibbs stated that he’s still trying to figure out where he fits in this sport and that he is certainly not the next Kyle Busch.
“No, I’m still trying to figure out where my pit stall is out there, I don’t think I’m the next Kyle Busch at all. Thank you, though,” said Ty Gibbs to NASCAR.
Ty Gibbs further added that he is very thankful for the team that he has and that he is fortunate enough to be speaking to them irrespective of the matter and he is also confident enough that he has a lot to learn from his fellow teammates and he doesn’t want to see himself as a part of any other team.
“I’m very thankful to be in these spots and be able to have their number if I need to ask them anything, on and off the track, experiences, and things to learn, I’m very blessed with great teammates and I wouldn’t want to be with any other team,“ added Ty Gibbs.
Ty Gibbs might deny the fact but he surely make it to the Hall Of Fame one day.
