Talladega has always hosted some of the most chaotic races in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series and last Sunday’s playoff race was no different. The race featured a 28-car wreck that started with Brad Keselowski making an undesired contact with Austin Cindric, who spun into the middle of the field and collected multiple cars.
2012 Cup champion Brad Keselowski received a lot of backlashes, as he was accused of causing the wreck. But his ex-teammate Joey Logano got his back. The two times Cup champion pointed out that the No:6 RFK Racing Ford got a big shove from behind because of his and Harrison Burton, causing the accident.

He asserted that it was not Brad Keselowski fault and also po8inted out that none of the drivers involved actually deserved the blame. Logano pointed out that the incident was the product of aggressive racing, which is pretty normal for Superspeedway likes Talladega.
Joey Logano felt he was in a safe spot before the wreck
Though he didn’t have a shot at win, Joey Logano was confident he could have secured a good finish and avoid potential chaos. But he was wrong as bottom was the first place Cindric spun into after making the contact.
The incident ruined the race for Joey Logano and his position in the playoff table, putting him in the elimination bubble. He has either win or produce a top 5 run, with maximizing stage points at Roval next-week to make it into the next-round.
