Joey Logano breaks silence on ’22 team overachieved’ claims after shock Vegas win
Team Penske Racing veteran Joey Logano has explained the how good his team has performed in the post-season.

Two times NASCAR Cup champion Joey Logano came into the 2024 season with the hopes of redemption, following a disastrous title defense in 2023. Though this year wasn’t as impressive as his previous season’s Loagno was able to make into the championship-4, with luck playing a massive part in it.
Joey Logano wouldn’t be in the R-8 if not for Alex Bowman getting disqualified for his cars being underweight in Roval. His win at Las Vegas last Sunday, that earned him the final-4 spot, was the product of taking advantage of fuel saving. But that doesn’t make these win feel like overarching for Logano, as he asserted that they capitalized on opportunities when it mattered.
He went onto highlight how they have always been impressive when it comes to post-season. Logano admitted that the No:22 team playoff has a crazy percentage wise in terms of regular season and post-season wins.

The Team Penske Racing veteran further asserted that they always do a great job when it comes to the playoffs. He then went onto quote his boss Roger Penske, who warned him about talking too much to the press.
The former champion has earned the best shot at winning the 2024 championship with the finale entry and will be hoping to keep the Penske Next-Gen era title winning streak alive. It will be interesting to see how the veteran would perform in the coming races.
