The 2024 Cup champion Joey Logano recently sat down with ex-NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace to have a heart-to-heart conversation about many topics around the sport in the Kenny Conversations show. Among the many topics discussed, an important one was the things Logano wants himself to be remembered for.

Joey Logano admitted that him being a three times champion is a memory that would be forgotten as the life goes on. He beloves racing will move on and his triumphs wouldn’t matter after sometimes, which is how life is. The only thing according to Logano that he will be left with the relationship he built with people.

At the end of the day, racing will be here and then it’s going to go. No matter how many championships I got, it will go away and I will be forgotten. It’s just life. And at the end of the day, what are you going to have? People. That’s all you got is those relationships that you’ve built.

The Team Penske Racing driver cherishes the connections he has built over the years to be the best thing happen to him and wants to cherish it the most, even over the titles he has won over the years. Its healthy perspective of life coming from someone who is known for aggressive racing and being selfish on the track, doing everything to win races.

While earlier talking his plans after NASCAR, Joey Logano pointed out that he wouldn’t be racing in another motorsport’s series than NASCAR. It has been the sport he grew up dreaming to be in and he wants that life to continue.

I love racing, I don’t want to stop anytime soon. But I want to be happy when I’m done. I don’t want to miss it because that’s all I got. I’ve got to have more in my life than just motorsports.
