Joey Logano is one of the most accomplished racers of his generation. He came into sport and established himself in his teenage days, earning him the nickname “sliced bread.” The two times Cup champion while being a busy racer is also a busy dad, and one of his main tasks is the racing activities of his son Hudson.

Ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series race in Texas Joey Logano was on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and spoke about how challenging it is racing his six-year-old son. The Daytona 500 winner asserted that his son has become a lot better in cornering go-karts, but once overtaken goes constantly goes for audacious divebombs.

He is significantly faster…he gets through the corners as good as me and he's way faster on the straightway…he like divebombs you. This kid drives straight into my door and sends me off onto the grass. He is all aggressive and when he sees a gap he clobbers the hell outta ya.
Joey Logano said.

The No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse driver seemed to be astonished by his son’s divebombs and aggressive ways of driving. But it’s not surprising and it’s the proof that Junior got Logano’s racing genes. In his young years the Cup champion was known for being aggressive. From what it looks like, young Hudson is set to get better and better in racing as his dad is one of the best possible racing mentors.

Joey Logano reveals racing plan for Hudson

Joey Logano is from a racing family and has been racing for over a decade. The driver would naturally want his son to get into racing. During the same conversation on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, he pointed out that he doesn’t actually have a plan about Hudson becoming a pro-racer. The ex-JGR driver added that he want to push his son to go racing in such a young age.

I have no plan for Hudson, he is five years old. If he wants to race OK, like we talked about it tonight. We might go race at Millbridge. Like I tell him 'You wanna go race?' and he gets kind of nervous about it so it's like 'Yeah I don't know. He's five I didn't even start racing until I was seven. So I'm not gonna push him to like go out there and do something right now.
Joey Logano said.

Joey Logano wants his son to develop an interest in Motorsports on his own and not due to any pressure. Only time will tell what the future holds for young Hudson, but if he wants to succeed as a racer, his NASCAR champion father can give him every recourse there is to help him succeed.
