Trackhouse Racing joined the NASCAR field in 2021 with high expectations. The team garnered attraction as Pit Bull joined in as a co-investor in the team. On the other hand, Avenue Sports Fund acquired a sizeable minority stake in the team. This led to the American rapper’s equity coming under the limelight as the media questioned Pit Bull’s role in the team. However, Justin Marks has lamented such rumors and claimed such reports were mere allegations.
Trackhouse Racing currently has two charters for its drivers. The team anticipated to gain momentum in the NASCAR field but has seemingly slowed down as its last win came at Atlanta this year. Despite this, the team garnered enough traction as the team earned huge investments from organizations. Coincidentally, this influx of investment was paired up with Justin Marks changing his Twitter bio from co-owner to owner.
This change led to rounds of speculation in the media regarding Pit Bull’s status in the team. On the contrary, these rumors infuriated the 43-year-old and he took to X to assert that such speculations are totally misleading. Moreover, he claimed the news outlets to be unreliable and assured that Pit Bull would continue with his role on the team, but Pit Bull has yet to comment on the matter yet.
Every single element to the stories of my friend and partner Pitbull leaving Trackhouse are materially untrue. Unreliable ‘media’ perpetuating a lie. We have big plans for 2025 and beyond!Justin Marks wrote on X
What Pit Bull’s exit rumors would mean for the current Trackhouse Racing lineup?
While the team has an array of drivers, its lead driver is Daniel Suarez. The Mexican had originally agreed to a multi-year deal in 2023, but his status within the organization has been doubtful recently after the team’s form dropped off in recent races.

Despite multiple theories and his earlier stature being open for newer teams, his stance has changed recently. The No.99 driver has publicly affirmed that he intends to continue at the North Carolina-based team.
Yeah. I definitely think Trackhouse is the place to be. Honestly, today, I wouldn’t trade Trackhouse for any other team. It doesn’t matter if it’s Gibbs, Hendrick, or whatever, I wouldn’t trade it.Daniel Suarez said in an interview with FOX Sports
While he has admitted his future remains at Trackhouse, the 32-year-old has a fond history of switching teams. Thus, the silly season might still have a few more cards yet to display.
