With Kevin Harvick wanting a return back to racing and Rackley W.A.R. race team aiming to make their racing venture successful, the two parties announced a partnership. This has aided Harvick and his son, Keelan Harvick, to participate in the North-Carolina-based team Super Late and Pro Late model programs.
Rackley W.A.R. is known for its Late Model programs in the stock-car racing scene. Moreover, in 2020, it started its journey in the Trucksman series and aimed to establish itself as a force to be reckoned with. To fast-track its driver’s development in the series and catapult its results in the Late Model programs, it partnered up with Kevin Harvick Inc.(KHI) which would help the team by utilising the former Cup Series champion’s expertise and help Keelan Harvick get experience behind the wheel of stock cars.
Subsequently, the 48-year-old reflected on the joining of the hands between the two parties and revealed how the alliance between the two would be a symbiotic relationship.
On the other hand, Dawson Sutton would be guided under the mentorship of Harvick in the Trucksman Series. This would help the 18-year-old in maturing under the reigns of an elite champion and move towards the top of the NASCAR ladder.
Rackley W.A.R. seemed ecstatic to partner up with Kevin Harvick and his son
With the 12-year-old having the aid of a former Cup Series champion guiding him, Keelan Harvick is understood to be a racing prodigy by multiple racing experts. Moreover, he has won multiple races in his time in karting and is on the verge of making the step up to racing stock cars.
On the other hand, team’s co-owner, Willie Allen, was content with his team collaborating with the Harvick’s and explained how this has given the team a huge boost of confidence.
While the team’s co-owner were relatively happy with Harvick joining in on their project, there might be a hoard of challenges for the two stakeholders to begin with. Anyhow, the team and Harvick appears to be ready to take on the myriad of challenges as the 48-year-old would be running the No.62 car during the Pro Late model race at Florence Motor Speedway.
Apart from this, the competition in the Cup Series ramps as the Round of 8 begins this weekend. Thus, the next three rounds might give us an unpredictable list of final four finalists, who would take on the race in Phoenix to be crowned the Cup Series champion.
