The NASCAR garage is set to make the much-expected return to the Bowman Gray Stadium, with The Clash finally moving away from LA Colosseum to Winston Salem. The whole Cup garage is getting ready to challenge for the win at The Madhouse. Ex-Cup champion Kevin Harvick has a bold prediction on who might be the first ever winner in the event.
He is betting on his former Stewart Haas Racing teammate Chase Briscoe to win the race. The star driver is set to make his Joe Gibbs Racing debut, as he replaced Martin Truex Jr. in the No:19 Toyota Camry. He backed his argument by highlighting how good JGR has been on the short tracks and the good team he has with James Small as the crew chief.
Further talking about the point, Kevin Harvick highlighted that how impressive Briscoe has been on the short tracks. He believes the star driver is capable of a magical moment to succeed at Bowman Gray.
Kevin Harvick co-host sees Joey Logano winning
In the same podcast, Kevin Harvick’s podcast co-host Kaitlyn Vincie doesn’t seem to agree with the veteran and is banking on the reigning champion Joey Logano. She based her argument on the fact that the Team Penske racer is always good when it comes to thriving in unfamiliar conditions.
The arguments from both Harvick and well as Vincie seems rational. Though the latter seems to have more soldi argument considering the prowess of Joey Logano and the fact that the debut pressure will be on Briscoe’s shoulders coming into the race.
