The NASCAR garage is at the Pocono Raceway for an important race weekend with a handful of races left in the regular season. The 2.5 miles Asphalt track is expected to host a thrilling race. 2014 cup Series champion with Stewart Haas Racing Kevin Harvick has given his prediction on who would win the race.
He is betting on the regular contenders to secure the race win on Sunday. Kevin Harvick predicts a battle between Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin to be main contenders. He believes the latter would become victorious and become the first driver to score four wins this Cup season.
I think we're getting back to the racetracks where we're going to see our guys are #5 (Kyle Larson) and #11 (Denny Hamlin). I think the #5 and the #11 are going to continue their battle. But Denny's been so good there over the years. I'm going to go with Denny on that one.Kevin Harvick said via Happy Hour Podcast.
A battle between Larson and Hamlin would be truly entertaining. The rivalry between the has been a huge discussion over the last few weeks. They might go all out on each other or will be bit cautious in case of a potential duel.
Kevin Harvick’s co-host predicted a Martin Truex Jr. win
While Harvick is expecting a win for Hamlin, his co-host of the Happy Hour podcast Kaitlyn Vincie is betting on another JGR driver. She made and emotional pick and said that Martin Truex Jr. would most probably win as it is potentially his last race at Pocono.
I'm going MTJ. I know I've picked him a lot lately, and I don't know if this is just like an emotional pick because he's retiring, but he has been very good at Pocono over the years as well.Kaitlyn Vincie said.
The No:19 Toyota Camry driver hasn’t won a race yet in the 2024 season. He would be hoping end his final season strong and winning at Pocono, a track where he has always been competitive, would be the best way to start the championship challenge.
