The 2025 NASCAR Cup season so far has been a mixed ride for 23XI Racing Tyler Reddick. He hasn’t been able to secure a race win yet this season and unlike in the last two season hasn’t been able to outperform teammate Bubba Wallace. But going into Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday, 2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick has some confident boosters for him.

The ex-Stewart Haas Racing driver, Kevin Harvick, picked the Tyler Reddick’s No:45 Toyota team to get into the victory lane, as part of his race predictions. Reddick is already a winner at the track (2022 with RCR). He has been solid at the venue in almost every race he has been part of at the track and the team also has solid record there.

I’m going to pick Tyler Reddick. I think that Reddick has been good at this particular race track, and I think he and Bubba Wallace both run really good at this race track.

Kevin Harvick said via Happy Hour podcast.

The co-host of the podcast, Kaitlyn Vince, went for the safe choice in the prediction segment. She went with Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson, who is in a good form this year. The impressive Talladega run gives him momentum and the 2021 win at the track gives him confidence, ahead of the Würth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY.

I’m going with Kyle Larson. He has some momentum on his side, coming off the performance at Talladega, and he was the winner there in 2021.

Mamba Smiths expects Bubba Wallace to win at Texas

In the same conversation, the third host of the podcast, Mamba Smith, went with Reddick’s teammate Bubba Wallace. He initially picked the former, but with Kevin Harvick picking him, Smith went for his friend Wallace. Smith expects the No:23 team to redeem themselves for the 2025 slip-up.

I was going to pick Tyler Reddick. I mentioned him earlier in the show. I’m not going to pick him [now]. That’s not how this works. You know what? Give me my dog, Bubba Wallace. It’s redemption time at Texas. I think they feel like they let one slip last year. So, go get yourself one big dog.

23XI Racing has a 2-1 majority in the Happy Hour podcast prediction and it shows how impressive as well as consistent Denny Hamlin’s Toyota team has been in the 2025 season. They need to secure a race win to mark their chase of the 2025 championship.

For Bubba Wallace, a win will be more valuable than anything else as he has been on a winless streak for the last two seasons. Reddick, whose form stalled in the playoff last season, also needs a solid win to get back his confidence.
