Kevin Harvick is all set to employ an ‘aggressive process,’ to ‘get to victory lane,’ in Martinsville

The 2012 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick made waves last weekend at Richmond Raceway following his final stage onslaught securing a P2 finish behind fellow veteran Denny Hamlin, who broke the 12 race winning streak of drivers who are below the age of 30.
The Stewart-Hass Racing driver had a winless season in 2021 and is yet to have a win in 2022. The 43-year-old just like his fellow veterans is finding it hard to make the best out of their Next-Gen car. Kevin Harvick is yet to put on a competitive performance and has been having consecutive average finishes throughout this season.
Following his runner-up finish at Richmond, Kevin Harvick has now come forth suggesting that he is ready to take on the Martinsville challenge this weekend and is getting ready for an aggressive run to get his first cup series win since 2020.
Find out what Kevin Harvick said
Kevin Harvick acknowledged that he has been partaking in rigorous simulation and test runs to get acclimatized to the next-gen cars. He went on to say that it’s been hard for him to break certain habits but the team has been on it since the beginning of the year. He suggested that his outing in Martinsville will be similar to this as he is set for an aggressive run aimed at the victory lane.
“We’ve put in a lot of time this year; the simulator, we’ve been to two tests so far. We knew coming into this year that we had some habits we were going to have to break, thought processes that you were going to have to break, to really understand this car, and I think we’ve done a pretty good job of that with all the adversity we’ve gone through so far this year,” Kevin Harvick said.
“Martinsville will just be more of that same process, and that’s going to be our aggressive process until we get to victory lane,” Kevin Harvick added.
