The 2024 NASCAR Cup season so far has been a nightmare for Kyle Busch and Richard Childress Racing. They came to the season seeking redemption after drop in form in the second half of last season after a flying start with three race wins. But so far, the No:8 Chevy team hasn’t been a serious contender for a win in 2024.
Kyle Busch winless streak is putting one of his biggest records in threat. He has won at least one race in the last 19 Cup season, starting from 2005 that marked his debut with Hendrick Motorsports. Now with the current form of the team, it seems the win-streak might come to an end this season and the veteran is worries about it.
Kyle Busch wants a race win but it isn’t because he is stressing over making the playoffs. It’s something else that he needs a Cup win to make him feel good. And he isn’t regretting selling KBM, which could have served as a distraction during this time. pic.twitter.com/Anm1t8dsvp

Recently while talking to Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, Kyle Busch pointed out that he is now stressing over the possibility of his streak coming to an end. He admitted that he isn’t that concerned about his playoff chances. He also added that he does have the whole year get the all-important win for him and RCR.
I'm stressing over the playoffs probably as much as I'm stressing over the 20-year win streak. That's the bigger goal. You win a race for that, you're going to be in the playoffs, right? So that's the bigger one. That one can last all year. That's something to shoot for.Kyle Busch told Bob Pockrass.
Kyle Busch highlights how he continued his win-streak
While talking about his win-streak of 19 years, Kyle Buch highlighted that he has been fighting for victories with multiple teams and different crews. He was able to get these wins only by being consistent and having fast cars.

So, it just goes to show you how tough this sport is and where it's become, and what it all boils down to is just being able to be consistent with fast cars, be up front. We've had it some weeks. We haven't had it other way.Kyle Busch said.
The RCR driver will have the best opportunities to win this week at Gateway. It has been a track that he has been able to start strong from the start of the Next-Gen era compared to other drivers and will be hoping to be competitive.
