The NASCAR world has been enveloped in the ongoing fight for survival among playoff drivers to get into the final four. However, with Halloween colliding with the time frame of such racing, Kyle Busch took some time away and decided to enjoy the scary festival with his family in a hilarious yet spooky way.

Kyle Busch has been a popular figure during Halloween over the years. The 39-year-old has sported special helmets for the occasion and has been an outward lover of the whole spooky vibes. Following in line with the precedent tradition, his family had a Halloween party mid-way through the break for Martinsville, with a peculiar and funny theme.

The Busch family sported “bush” themed costumes. The RCR driver and Brexton Busch wore plain shrubbery dresses while Samantha Busch and Lennix Busch draped flower-themed bushes.

On the other hand, Busch has had a torrid 2024 campaign in the Cup Series. The two-time champion has struggled to get major points on the board and has not scored a win since the start of the season. Despite such results, the 39-year-old has remained stern that he still has all the things under control and aims to get back to the sharp end next year.

Kyle Busch revealed the plan for getting Brexton Busch ready for NASCAR

Though the Busch family enjoyed the Halloween weekend ecstatically, this did not let them get away from the racing spectacle even a single bit. Moreover, the nine-year-old kid participated in his last full-time Wings Kart race over the week and is deemed to be ready for the next step up the ladder.

Subsequently, Busch revealed that according to the blueprint, his son would continue to drive on a mixture of both dirt and asphalt tracks for quite a while. But he is expected to make the switch over to NASCAR’s reigns in the Truck series when he would turn 16.

I want to keep him on the dirt and asphalt realm, I don’t feel like you should go one way or the other. I like what we’re doing right now, he gets in his Bandolero car and he knows what he’s got to do on pavement, he gets into his dirt car and he knows what he’s got to do on dirt. So I really like that. We’ll probably stick with some of that mixture. And then by 16, he’ll be ready for some Trucks.

Kyle Busch said in an interview with Jeff Gluck

So there are still around seven years to go before Brexton makes his supposed switch to the Truck series. However, there is a slim chance that his Cup Series champion father would be racing around till then, which would make a father-son partnership to take part in a race not an outworldly possibility.
