Coming into the Brickyard 400, Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch had one goal, secure a good finish and redeem himself from the poor performance of the previous race weeks. But unfortunately, yet again the two times Cup champion became the victim of situations in the dramatic race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as he crashed while running along-side the front-runners.
With just three laps left in the race, Kyle Busch found himself in a battle for P5 with former teammate Denny Hamlin. He made on aggressive move on Turn 3 to make the pass but went too low and made contact with the No:11 Toyota while coming up the track. He spun into the infield grass before coming back onto the track and slamming into the outside wall.

After the race, he took it X to share his disappointment for ruining the opportunity for RCR to have solid finish, after securing P25. He admitted that he has goo car and good pit-sops, but messed up while being too aggressive. Busch added that he is looking to take the two weeks off coming that he desperately needed.
Got right where we wanted to b w a good car and some really good pit calls. I’m really sorry to all my guys and RCR for crashing while trying to b aggressive and get them a top 5 finish. Ready for this two wk break. Really need it.Kyle Busch wrote on X.

Kyle Busch promises to bounce back at Richmond
The veteran driver after the race while talking to the media pointed out that he and his crew will spend the next two weeks with their families and gather the much-needed energy. He added that they will bounce back at Richmond on the next-race.
The ending is just the way racing is today. Thanks to Cheddar’s for their support. We will spend the next couple of weeks with our families and bounce back at Richmond Raceway.Kyle Busch said.
The two times Cup champion and the whole RCR team need the break to get away from the pressure to have a clear mind to fix the cars to make an impressive comeback. It would be interesting to see how the No:8 team would perform in the second and most crucial half of the season.
