The NASCAR All-Star race at North Wilkesboro didn’t have the very best racing to show for, but was filled with some dramatic moments keeping the fans entertained. Clash between Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch and JTDG Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. over-shadowed the impressive race win by Joey Logano.
All started with a lap one incident involving the two. Kyle Busch was squeezed to the wall by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on the start of the race and as retaliation, the No:8 RCR driver wrecked the No:47 Chevy on lap 2. The drama didn’t end there as Stenhouse Jr. confronted Busch after the race and their heated encounter ended in Busch getting punched in the face.

On the way to his Houler, seconds before getting punched, Busch was talking to the media about why he chose to retaliate. He pointed out that he was tired of getting run-over even before the race even started.
First lap of the race, we don't even have water temp in the car yet and we're wrecking each other off of [Turn] 2. I am tired of getting run over by everybody… But that's what everybody does — everybody runs over everybody to pass everybody.Kyle Busch told Fox Sports.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. explains why Kyle Busch was frustrated
The No:47 Chevy driver while talking about incident pointed out that Kyle Busch’s frustration might be the result of the poor form, he and the RCR team is in right now. He explained that he understands this pain because he races for a single car organization.
I know he’s frustrated because he doesn’t run as well as he used to. I understand that. We’re a single-car team over here, we’re working really hard to go out and get better each and every weekend.Ricky Stenhouse jr. said.
It seems Stenhouse has point there, as Busch is consistently finding himself in the battle for midfield positions, the chances of him getting into incident increases. This makes him more desperate for results and easily suspectable to getting frustrated with racers around him.
