The 2024 NASCAR Cup season in the words of 2014 champion Kevin Harvick has been a disastrous mess for Kyle Busch with Richard Childress Racing. The two times champion came into the season with the hopes of redeeming himself after a massive drop in performance in the second half of last season, but so far, the season gave him more depressing moments.

The No:8 team has failed consistently to give him fast cars capable of contending for wins. When Kyle Busch did have some cars good enough, the luck wasn’t on his side as he got caught up in multiple incidents. The veteran driver knows how to solve the situation and he talked about ahead of the Cup race at Nashville.

The Chevy driver pointed out that a fast car is more than enough to cure all his woes and make everyone happy at RCR. He is craving for an opportunity to be in a position where he could compete for race wins again and potentially continue his win-streak that lasted over 19 Cup seasons he has been in the sport.

Fast cars cures all. Being able to have confidence and to go out there and run hard and run fast and put myself in positions to win, that’ll certainly make a lot of gains and make everybody happy.

Kyle Busch admits the last three weeks has been a huge setback for him

The No:8 team has had disheartening outings in the last few weeks, and this has put a whole lot of pressure on them. He admitted that his team is now bleeding, and they have to make a stop to it as soon as possible.

The last three weeks have definitely not helped, that's been a huge setback. We just have to stop the bleeding. I think I've been saying that for the last six months and it hasn't stopped. And the last week it's been gushing pretty hard.

RCR has get their stuff together and solve the issues with the car, otherwise they are just wasting the incredible talent Kyle Busch is behind the wheels. It would be interesting to see how the last 18 races of the season will playout for him.
