The NASCAR Cup series race last weekend at Pocono witnessed a wreck featuring RCR veteran Kyle Busch and Spire Motorsports’ Corey LaJoie. The No:7 Chevy hooked the No:8 Chevy with just 40 laps left in a race during the restart and it resulted in a wreck that collected over eight cars, ruining the races for most of them.
Despite criticism, Corey LaJoie has refused to admit his mistake and has shifted the blame on Kyle Busch for blocking him multiple times. Now in his latest appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” the two times Cup champion discussed the incident and warned his fellow veteran of the coming payback for his doings.

Busch revealed that the Spire driver has actually texted him and called him with the hopes if squashing the beef. But he refused to check them after LaJoei, who Busch later called a liar, continued to change his side of the story while defending the Pocono move. He then threatened the driver with payback.
He texted me and then he called me. I didn’t even reach back out because he changed his story four times, so I’m like, ‘you’re just a liar. You wrecked me.’ I get it. It’s fine. Payback is coming.Kyle Busch told Pat McAfee.
Kyle Busch explains how the nickname he gave Ricky Stenhouse Jr. caused the All-Star race fight
The LaJoie incident wasn’t the biggest and worst incident Busch has been part of this season. He wrecked out Ricky Stenhouse Jr. early half of the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro and it resulted in a physical brawl after the event. Stenhouse Jr. after the incident got a massive fine for the unfortunate event.

While talking about the same, Kyle Busch addressed the past between the two and explained how he gave the driver the nickname “Wrecky Stenhouse Jr.” and how it left a sour taste on the mouth of his rival. This might have played a part in them getting into a fight despite hanging out together weeks prior of the incident.
I wasn’t too thrilled about it. And so, I made up my own nickname [Wrecky Spinhouse Jr.] for him and he wasn’t appreciative of that. And that was it, I never really talked about it again after that. … After the fight, he was like, ‘I punched him because he always keeps talking crap about me.’ And I’m like, ‘No, I only did that once after you wrecked me and never again.Kyle Busch said.
The RCR driver shouldn’t be having beef with midfield drivers like Stenhouse Jr. and LaJoie, but the poor cars his team has been giving him has put them in this tough situation. It would be interesting to see if Busch would be able to get back on top and how the beef with these driver’s ca be a huge hurdle in the journey.
