The whole NASCAR community is mourning a massive loss as ex-Truck Series champion Greg Bifflle and family was killed in a tragic plane crash at North Carolina. The incident claimed the life of seven people. Many racers and stock car racing personalities have shared their feelings about the tragedy on social media.

Two times Cup Series champion Kyle Busch was one of the many to share emotional messages on the incident. On his post on X, the Richard Childress Racing veteran shared images of them together, highlighting the special friendship the Busch’s had with the Greg Biffle family and asserted that they are heartbroken.

Such a tragic and heartbreaking day. Greg and Cristina were truly special friends to us, we loved them as well as Emma and Ryder dearly.

Furthermore, he highlighted the compassion and humanitarian spirit of Greg Biffle. The latter made into nationwide headlines after Hurricane Helene over his relief efforts using personal helicopter. Busch asserted that he will never forget the memories he made with the Biff’s on and off the track over the years.

Greg’s compassion and humanitarian spirit—especially in times of crisis—touched so many lives and inspired everyone who knew him. The memories we shared, both on and off the racetrack, will stay in our hearts forever. They meant so much to us, and they will never be forgotten.

The reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson also shared a message on social media about the tragedy. He admitted that that he is devastated over the accident and is remembering the whole Biff family in his prayers.

Cup championship winning crew chief Rodney Childers also shared his thoughts on social media over the tragedy. He admitted that he finding it hard to cope with the results and pointed out that the victims of the tragedy will be in his memory.

It’s been extremely hard to work today. My mind and my heart are all with the Biffle family. They were incredible people. So nice, and did so much for so many…We will see you again one day.

The whole NASCAR community shares similar thoughts about the tragedy. Loosing Biffle, one of the 75 greatest drivers in the history of the sport is significant for the sport and they need to pay a meaningful tribute to the him in the 2026 season.
