Kyle Busch SLAMS Brad Keselowski for overtime antics at Michigan
Kyle Busch had a comparatively good outing with RCR this Sunday at Michigan though a late tussle with Brad Keselowski hindered him.

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan marked the return of two times champion Kyle Busch’s return to running consistently inside the top-10 from the start to end, for the first time in the 2024 season. Just like Austin Dillon got last week at Richmond, RCR was able to field a fast car for the veteran and it almost paid of form him, with the No:8 Chevy finishing P4.
But if not for Brad Keselowski, the Chevy driver could have secured a better finish. On the final overtime restart of the race, Kyle Busch restarted on the third row behind the RFK driver. The No:6 Ford surprisingly slowed down twice and that killed the momentum of all the cars behind him, including Busch. The No:8 Chevy driver via X called out that his fellow veteran.

Earlier by talking about his top-5 run, Kyle Busch admitted that he had a good race with the Richard Childress Racing Chevy. He admitted that he would have been able to get more out of the situation, with a faster car.
It was a good day overall for our No. 8 team. Maybe needed a tick more speed, but it was a good top-eight car, so we got a little bit more out of that with the Lucas Oil Chevrolet.Kyle Busch said.
Kyle Busch credits his crew chief for the good result
While further talking about his impressive race, Kyle Busch pointed out that his crew chief Randall Burnet made the right pit-call at the end and that helped him to secure a top-5 finish out of the race. If not for the late-two tier stop they would have had the track position top secure top-5.
It was a good pit strategy by Randall (Burnett) and the guys to keep our track position and keep us upfront there. We took two tires there at the end and it wasn’t going to be ideal on those short restarts. We hung on OK and got a top-five out of it.Kyle Busch said.
The RCR team has two more races left in the season to get back to speed and secure the much-needed win to make it into the playoff. It would be a major disappointment if Busch can’t make it into the last-16.
