Former NASCAR star Kurt Busch will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class. The 46-year-old won the Cup Series in 2004 and achieved immense success during his long and illustrious career. Now, Busch’s younger brother Kyle Busch has given a heartfelt message over this special announcement.
Kurt Busch raced in the Cup Series for a span of over two decades, between 2000 to 2022. He was forced to hang up his racing gloves after sustaining injuries from a massive wreck at Pocano in 2022, when he drove for 23XI Racing. Since then, the elder Busch has been away from stock car racing. Nevertheless, his incredible achievements have been recognised by NASCAR with the Hall of Fame induction.
Kyle Busch was thrilled to hear the news. The 40-year-old applauded his elder siblings for his entry into the prestigious club. The RCR star claimed that Kurt Busch deserved this induction for his immense efforts on-track for decades.

Kurt Busch reveals family member who’ll get him back to racing
Since 2022, Kurt Busch has stayed away from NASCAR. The 46-year-old was forced to adapt himself to his new routine after spending decades in the field. However, the passion for racing can never be taken away from someone like Busch. The former Cup Series champion revealed the one relative who might force him to make a return.

Brexton Busch, the son of Kyle Busch, has made his name in junior racing categories. The young prodigy is following the footsteps of his father and uncle, hoping to make it to NASCAR one day. Kurt Busch reckoned that he might be coerced into racing again as he tracks his nephew’s racing career.
I see my nephew turning up at the dirt tracks. I think his first Legends race is this Thursday. I’ll be there. He is going to be the one to get me back behind the wheel.
Kurt Busch told Frontstretch.
Kurt Busch was given the medical approval early this year for the Race of Champions, marking his first-ever racing event since the 2022 wreck. However, at the age of 46, it is unlikely that Busch would seriously consider a full-time return to stock car racing. Though, fans would hope to see him make a few appearances in the near future.
