The 2024 NASCAR season has been a massive disappointment for Richard Childress Racing, after coming into the year with massive hopes as they won thrice with Kyle Busch in 2023. But from the start of the year, the car didn’t match expectations and though they bounced back after yeh Olympics break, it wasn’t enough.

Kyle Busch’s dream of keeping his 20-year win streak alive was ruined by the drop in performance. In order to bounce back, the has made some big changes including hiring new crew members from Stewart Haas Racing, which is ceasing its operations at the end of the season. Busch has huge expectations about the new crew.

And so that’s been a big part of what we’ve been doing already that we can do. And then of course also through the off-season we’ve got some new people that are joining our team and our organization at Richard Childress Racing from other organizations or from Stewart-Haas Racing, which is closing down at the end of the year.

Kyle Busch told On3.

He pointed out that, there are some really good hires made by the team for the 2025 season. Kyle Busch and Richard Childress Racing is excited to get them on board and start the process to bounce back soon.

There were some really good folks over there that have taken positions with us, so we’re excited to get them on board and get them in and start the process.

Busch talked about the same in a recent interview and revealed that he wasn’t even asked to get featured in the docu-series. He admitted that he isn’t being followed by Netflix crew and fans won’t be seeing much of him.

No, they didn’t ask me. Maybe it comes down to that you must be in the playoffs to be on video… I don’t know, but I think my story of the 20-year thing would be a pretty good one. But they’re not following along, so you won’t see much of me.

Kyle Busch said.

It’s really disappointing as yet again a driver with such huge fan base and accomplishment is snubbed. If the series return for one more season in 2025, NASCAR should add Kyle Busch to the list as a lot left for the veteran to offer.
